As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy government transportation location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, offices, public access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces, assisting with access control, crowd management, and direction-giving while following post orders and local procedures.
• Support emergency and service-related responses by communicating with supervisors, public agency representatives, and/or first responders when needed, and completing required activity and incident reports.
