About The Position

As a Security Guard - Clearance Required in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of military, corrections and/or law enforcement.
• Must be 21 or more years of age.
• A guard card is required.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials in accordance with site protocols, and report access concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing incident reports, and following post orders and client-directed procedures during routine and emergency conditions.
