As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting a culture built on integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and completing patrol documentation as required.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, assisting with visitor check-in and/or badge processes in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and shift activities, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
