About The Position
As a Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Devens, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting mobile checks and quick response across the property. You will assist with access control and badge activity, use a computer or tablet for reporting, and deliver people-first customer service with integrity, teamwork, and innovation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to site contacts and/or public services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
- Monitor access points and key areas, verifying credentials when required and documenting visitor activity according to site policy.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
