About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the U.S.
You are 21 years old or older
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
You have a CT State Security Guard License endorsement
Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Nice To Haves

First aid certification is an asset

Responsibilities

Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.
Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
