As a Security Guard Unarmed in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist with access control and badge-related activities. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
