As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support a welcoming customer experience, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas such as lobby, ATM vestibule, offices, and parking areas, as well as exterior perimeter checks to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with managing visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local law enforcement when needed.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and support security-related operations during opening, closing, and/or special activities.
