As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
