Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public utility facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior or conditions.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
