About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Driver Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of a driving post, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports regarding incidents, patrol activity, unusual conditions, and security-related observations.
