As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct vehicle patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will complete reports on a computer and/or tablet, support access control, and assist visitors with communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or escort requirements, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, suspicious activity reports and/or medical calls and coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and communicate unusual conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
