As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a leading tech workplace, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, innovative mindset.

Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology office location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control points by checking badges and/or visitor credentials, directing guests to the proper check-in process, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and help to deter policy violations through consistent presence and observation.
