About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
