As a Security Guard Training Facility in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will use communication and computer skills to report observations and support daily operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal, facility, parking, curbside, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and assist with directing authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate airport, law enforcement, medical, and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
