As a Security Guard Site Monitor in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, deliveries, and/or visitors, helping to support authorized access and following post orders for screening, sign-in, and credential verification.
• Support incident reporting and daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following established procedures for emergency, medical, and facility-related events.
