About The Position

As a Security Guard Shopping Center Patrol Driver in ANNAPOLIS, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
