As a Security Guard Screening Operations in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access, screening individuals and items, reporting security-related concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help support smooth operations while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas; document visitor activity and report discrepancies to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, loading areas, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
