As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, monitor access points and shipping activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, customer-focused presence. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and respond to reports with integrity, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-moving environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location and shift.
• Monitor access points such as guard shacks, gates, and dock areas by verifying identification, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and public responders when appropriate.
• Complete detailed, timely documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and promptly report hazards, damage, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate contacts.
