About The Position

As a Security Guard - Rover Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will help maintain a secure environment through security-related patrols, access control, and clear reporting. As a driving post, you may support mobile patrols and rapid response across the site while providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. Bring teamwork, integrity, and an agile, innovative mindset as you help to deter incidents and support daily operations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures, badge and credential requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by screening employees, contractors, and visitors, verifying authorization, issuing temporary credentials, and directing individuals to approved areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance as needed and supporting site emergency protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or lab areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Complete timely reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
