As a Security Guard - Residential Overnight Patrol Driving in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this customer-focused role, you will support residents and guests through clear communication and responsive service while bringing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and amenity areas, assisting with visitor traffic, rule reminders, and/or property-related concerns in accordance with post instructions.
• Support property operations by communicating professionally with residents and visitors, following post orders, and completing assigned reports related to daily activity, incidents, and/or maintenance observations.
