About The Position

Rays Security Guards are uniformed, forward-facing security representatives of a dynamic and diverse organization. Rays Guards perform the daily security program elements at Tropicana Field and Al Lang Stadium. Rays Guards enhance the guest and employee experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment, patrolling stadium spaces and grounds, controlling access, and reporting issues of concern. Reserves are a flexible, as-needed guard force multiplier. Shifts may be scheduled to support private and internal events, facility and operational needs, and coverage for stadium security shifts as needed. Work schedules and hours will vary based on operational tempo and coverage requirements.

Responsibilities

Control access at entry points
Patrol stadium grounds, buildings and other assigned areas
Respond to incidents and emergencies following established protocols
Monitor CCTV and other security technology
Ensure security program requirements are achieved at your assigned fixed or mobile security post during your shift
Conduct routine safety and inspections as assigned to identify hazards
Coordinate with public safety officials when appropriate
Complete reports, log activities, and other assigned administrative duties
Assist with operational needs of the stadium and other departments
Provide courteous and friendly service to all employees and guests
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
