As a Security Guard Patrol with Active Clearance in Redondo Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and follow post orders for access control at designated points.
• Support a professional work environment by preparing incident reports, maintaining situational awareness, and following Allied Universal standards and site protocols.
