As a Security Guard Patrol Site Observation in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests, employees, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations through a visible presence and timely reporting of observations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
