Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
