About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Response Officer in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the branch, office areas, lobby, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry procedures, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or operational needs.
  • Support closing and opening routines, observe cash handling or employee movement areas from an assigned presence post, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues.
