About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Operations in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support security-related operations with professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related matters.
