Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site policies, and report access concerns or policy violations.
- Support assigned operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation accurately and on time.
