As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Plymouth, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service and communication, all while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, assist with access control practices, and help to support an orderly environment for daily healthcare operations.
