As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, vehicle storage areas, offices, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies; assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in procedures as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
