You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant observations to appropriate personnel.
