As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Overnights in Oshkosh, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
  • Follow applicable industrial location requirements, including personal protective equipment expectations and restricted-area procedures, while supporting a professional security-related presence.
