Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed by site procedures, and report access issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
  • Support day-to-day operations by observing loading and receiving areas, assisting with traffic and/or foot flow, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers.
