As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated access points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and notify property management and/or appropriate personnel of maintenance issues, hazards, or other security-related observations.
