As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, amenities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community procedures, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
