As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; maintain professional interactions with visitors and personnel.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
