Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures; verify credentials, review access authorization, and report irregularities to site leadership.
Operate screening equipment and maintain awareness of prohibited or unauthorized items while following applicable site policies and escalation procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and relevant details to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
