As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to questions with strong customer service, and document activity using computer-based tools. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to the facility by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor badges when authorized, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, access activity, and follow-up actions taken per post orders.
