As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and by vehicle, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and quick response to concerns. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical situations, and requests for assistance from store leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity and observe customer and employee traffic patterns, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Complete required incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate important updates during shift transitions, and assist with investigations by providing accurate observations and documentation.
