As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe activity, report concerns, and support site operations with clear communication and standout customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and truck traffic flow by observing inbound and outbound activity, verifying visitor and driver authorization as directed, and directing individuals to the proper check-in processes.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed and providing clear incident details.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, access activity, and security-related incidents, and communicate relevant information during shift change briefings.
