Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, public areas, and/or restricted locations, assisting with reporting, directional support, and policy reminders in accordance with post instructions.
  • Support crowd management, special event coverage, and/or disruptions in service by maintaining a visible presence and following established response protocols.
