About The Position

As a Security Guard Parking Lot Driving Patrol in Halethorpe, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate store leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support an orderly shopping environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.
