Security Guard Officer
About The Position
Security officers are responsible for securing premises and personnel by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. They are also responsible for preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers, and identifying risks and notifying appropriate authorities. Officers must complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintain a written log of all daily activities per shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old or minimum age required by the State
- Must have a Valid Guard Card
- Should possess great English communicating abilities, both written and oral
- Should be responsible, flexible and dependable
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Positive and confident professional image
- Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
- Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Must be drug free
