As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with strong customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to巡 assigned areas, report concerns, and communicate clearly with the team, bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or management as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including observing entry and exit activity and reporting unusual conditions according to site instructions.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic logs and submit reports to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives per post orders.
