As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with professionalism. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while supporting an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; request law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or property damage; report concerns per post orders.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns in written and/or electronic reports and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
