About The Position

As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, using a computer and/or tablet as needed. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have a CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and requesting medical and/or law enforcement assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in points.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and shift handoff, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or dispatch.
