As a Security Guard - Unarmed Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support tenants, visitors, and site teams with clear communication and customer-focused service. Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials, directing visitors, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in detailed written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.
