Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Gibbstown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service needs with clear communication. You will represent Allied Universal with a people-first mindset, acting with integrity while working as part of a supportive team. This role rewards agility, reliability, and innovative thinking during every shift.

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process-area perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor directions, and monitoring vehicle and pedestrian entry points in accordance with site requirements.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and/or radios, and complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs as required.
