About The Position

As a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a transportation location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation-related facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
