As a Security Guard - Judicial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess unarmed guard card.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a government location.
  • Screen visitors, staff, and/or deliveries entering the location using assigned equipment and established post orders while reporting suspicious items or activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activities, incidents, and/or unusual conditions according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
