About The Position

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) is seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Security Guard I/Concierge to oversee a federal facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality service, attention to detail, and possess exceptional customer service skills. This role requires a confident personality and excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Additional coverage may be necessary for other shifts during the week and holidays.

Requirements

US Citizenship and ability to pass an extensive background check
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 1+ year’s client-facing experience
Basic computer literacy skills and talent for technology
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of local attractions and establishments
Polite, friendly, and self-assured attitude
Skills in multitasking and good time-management
Good attention to detail
Track record of dependability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors when they enter the building and guide them to their designated areas
Process important queries and manage customer expectations in a polite and friendly manner
Verify access badges
Monitor building conditions; notify appropriate facilities/custodial personnel of issues
Conduct evening tours to verify security of access/egress
Monitor parking areas and security cameras for anomalies or security issues
Keep track of visitors and coordinate with onsite staff for escorting
Answer telephones and monitor the security office
Maintain control of all keys, including logging them in and out
Provide detailed log report at the end of each shift, ensuring all instructions are followed and no details are missed
Maintain a clean and pleasant environment
May be required to lift to 25 lbs.
